Privacy Policy – LifeROI

      Summary: LifeROI does not collect or store your personal or financial data on any server. All planning data stays on your device. We use anonymous analytics only to improve the app.
    

1. Information We Collect

LifeROI is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate and improve the app.

Data stored locally on your device only:

Your financial planning inputs (portfolio values, savings targets, retirement ages, expense phases)
Memory Dividend photos and entries
App preferences (language, currency, notification settings)
Saved scenarios and simulation results

None of this data is transmitted to or stored on our servers. It remains exclusively on your device.

Anonymous analytics data (via Firebase Analytics):

Screen views and feature usage events (e.g., "opened planner screen")
Device type, OS version, and app version
Crash reports and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)

We never log financial values, portfolio amounts, or any user-entered data in analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the LifeROI app experience
To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
To understand which features are most useful
To manage subscription purchases (via RevenueCat)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving the app.

3. Third-Party Services

LifeROI uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google) — anonymous usage and crash data. Firebase Privacy Policy

Firebase Remote Config — feature flag delivery (no personal data transmitted)

Inflation rate data is fetched from our own backend service hosted on Google Cloud Run. This request contains no personal information.

4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling analytics. If you decline, anonymous analytics will not be collected. The app functions fully without this permission.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all your financial data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. The app also provides a backup and restore feature — backups are stored in your chosen location (e.g., Files app) and remain under your control.

Anonymous analytics data retained by Firebase follows Google's data retention policies (typically 14 months).

6. Children's Privacy

LifeROI is a financial planning application intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

7. International Users

LifeROI is available in Turkish, English, and Spanish. Your local data never leaves your device. Anonymous analytics may be processed by Google (Firebase) in servers located outside your country, in accordance with applicable data transfer regulations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
